  Chapter one (Kate) Kate walked up her driveway, dragging her feet because she knew what was coming when she got inside. She had gotten suspended from school for hitting Ethan Hayes her classmate, and her biggest annoyance.  She had a reason though he had tried sticking his hand where it had no business being, so she hit him in the face and yet she was the one who got punished for self defense. Kate opened the door closing it behind her as quietly as she could but her Mom was already standing there holding Kate's baby sister Freya on her hip. "Explain now Kate Anderson." Just by the tone of her voice Kate new she was done for. Kate looked down at her shoes avoiding her Mom's gaze. "I hit him because he tried sticking his hand up my skirt, it was self defense I didn't mean to break his nose."
